In Shadows We Rise was started as a solo project for John Smith's ideas back in July of 2020. He launched a Single(Never Fall) in August of 2020 and a three song EP album (Together We Rise) October 10th 2020. John Smith collaborated with Marco Toba(Bass Player), Eric Castiglia(singer/songwriter/producer), and Jared Cornell(singer/songwr

He launched a Single(Never Fall) in August of 2020 and a three song EP album (Together We Rise) October 10th 2020. John Smith collaborated with Marco Toba(Bass Player), Eric Castiglia(singer/songwriter/producer), and Jared Cornell(singer/songwriter). After meeting with Jared Cornell in August of 2020, Jared had talks about coming on full time to In Shadows We Rise and making it a full band. Jared officially joined In Shadows We rise Feb. 2021. With lots of work ahead and plenty of drive, In Shadows We Rise plans to slowly make their entrance into the music scene.

With Covid shutdows happening, many musicians were left with hard decisions. Do not give up on your dreams and drive to succeed. Even when you feel like your failing. Success is not given, it is earned through hard work and sacrifices.

What inspired us to start creating music is the reaction and feeling you get listening to a song and being able to connect with the music and lyrics on a different level. What inspired us to start creating music is the reaction and feeling you get listening to a song and being able to connect with the music and lyrics on a different level. It has since been one of our favorite hobbies. There are plenty of bands out there who influence our style as an artist. I think Metallica, Godsmack, Disturbed, and Staind were the biggest influences on us growing up. The talent these bands have is amazing. I think fans should be able to relate to everyday life with your music. Mental health awareness is huge, so many people struggling and it eases their mind to know they are not alone.
